Sara Frank Bristow is a writer, editor, researcher and administrator in learning technology. She worked for Matic Media Ltd on the Research workpackage of Re.ViCa, with particular focus on non-European programmes and related entities.
After receiving her master’s in Writing from Columbia University (2001), she became a Research Assistant with the Telematics in Education Research Group at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She then worked as Special Projects Analyst for UKeU before moving to Canada in 2003. There Sara managed the Network for Effective Collaboration Technologies through Advanced Research (NECTAR), based at the University of Toronto. She has written contracted reports for numerous public and private organisations in the UK and Canada. Research projects undertaken include the study and comparison of e-universities around the world; market analysis of e-learning companies (in both higher education and the private sector); and feature analysis of learning management systems. She was co-editor with Paul Bacsich of The e-University Compendium. Now based in the USA, Sara is a regular associate of Matic Media Ltd and more recently of Sero Consulting Ltd.
