Rio Salado College (Rio Salado) is based in Tempe, Arizona, US. It is one of 10 regional Community Colleges and has no physical campus. Most Rio Salado students are working adults.

Established in 1978, Rio Salado began offering courses over the Internet in 1996. The college enrols roughly 60,000 students each year. It offers a wide range of online certificates and degrees. In Fall 2008, Rio Salado offered over 450 online classes. Print-based, face-to-face, "hybrid" and "mixed media" classes are available as well. Most classes do require textbooks; exams are taken via internet in a proctored environment.
