Indiana University (IU) supports numerous wholly online degree programmes via its Indiana University Online programme. Courses are delivered for Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC); Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI); and Indiana University East (IUE).

The IU Online Website is managed by the IU University-wide School of Continuing Studies. Online courses available include a high school diploma, associate's degrees, and bachelor's and master's degrees.

Per its web site, the IU School of Continuing Studies offers online access to undergraduate courses in a variety of formats to best address student needs:

  • Self-Study Courses from the Independent Study Program - Up to One Year to Complete
  • Interactive Courses - One Semester to Complete (SOI)
  • Campus-Specific Self-Study Courses - One Semester to Complete (SOS)

The IU main office is in Bloomington, Indiana, US. Eight other IU campuses are located across the state of Indiana.
