Deborah has a background in teaching, media and languages as well as considerable experience in coordinating and evaluating transnational projects under the eLearning and Lifelong Learning programmes. She worked as a project manager at Vidéoscop, Université Nancy 2, from 2000 to 2011 before moving to the Université de Bourgogne to manage the educational technology and distance learning department there. She continues her collaboration with Nancy, now part of Université de Lorraine, through specific contracts. Deborah is an active member of several European networks and communities of practice in the fields of ICT and digital media for education, and was elected to the Executive Committee of EDEN (European Distance and E-learning Network) in June 2010. She teaches multimedia project management at Université de Bourgogne and web 2.0 for teaching and learning on a distance learning course for Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle.
