WOERC interim report

World OER Congress and Exhibition - this is taking place at UNESCO Paris on 20-22 June 2012.

Paul Bacsich, Rory McGreal and Robert Schuwer are at this event. They met on the late afternoon of 21 June to discuss POERUP project progress especially WP2 and WP3.

Claudio Dondi also attended the Congress on 21 June 2012.

The event is providing the team with a valuable number of inputs: UNESCO reports, reports from other international agencies and presentations from projects. This is a great help to the country/initiatives report work under WP2.

POERUP kick-off meeting

The POERUP kick-off meeting takes place at BDRA, University of Leicester on 17-18 November 2011. Some partners will arrive at Leicester the afternoon/evening of 16 November.

There is a comprehensive agenda but among the more intriguing items will be a short discussion on "How to pronounce POERUP". "Pore up" or Power Up? Certainly not "Purr Up".
